The tour also takes in the Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve, where a large population of resident seals can often be viewed close to the road. The final stop is in the historic coastal town of Dornoch, with its miles of sandy beaches, world-class golf course, 13th century cathedral and charming pubs, cafes and shops.

    1. Stop 1 Dunrobin Castle

Dunrobin Castle is the historic home of the Earls and Dukes of Sutherland. The earliest part of the building dates from around 1275 and has a number of later extensions. Your tour begins at the main staircase, which leads to the state rooms on the first floor. These include the Dining Room, set with the family silver, and the Library which has over 10,000 books. You then make your way to the smaller rooms in the older parts of the castle. The Tearoom and Gift Shop can be found on the ground floor. Access to the Gardens is from the Entrance Hall.

    2. Stop 2 Loch Fleet

Do you have a passion for plants or a fascination for birds? Or maybe you want to see seals and otters? You’ll find them all at Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve (NNR). Loch Fleet is worth visiting at any time of year. Linger at the edge of the tidal basin at low tide, and watch hungry waders as they feed over the soft mud. Harbour seals bask on exposed sandbanks.

    3. Stop 3 Dornoch

The Scottish Highlands is renowned for its wild beauty, grandeur and rich cultural heritage – nowhere more apparent than in Dornoch.  Take your time and enjoy Dornoch’s big outdoors – beaches, golf courses, sports, history, stunning scenery, great walks and a charming town square with cafes, pubs and interesting shops.

We operate a mix of private hire minibuses including Ford Tourneo, Mercedes and VW Transporter, mostly with 7 passenger seats. We also have a 16 seater vehicle for larger groups.

Normally we accept bookings from one source only, so your group will be the only ones booked on a trip. However there may be occasions when we have a mixed group – say one couple and then a family of four. If we accept more than one group on a trip, it will only be with the consent of all parties. The cost of a trip will naturally be more cost effective for all sub groups, if shared.

The price of our tours is shown in the various activity portals. The cost of each trip covers the driver and vehicle for either a half or a full day trip. However the cost of entry into visitor attractions or for food and beverage is not included. The terms and conditions for each tour are explained in the respective tour portals.

Once you have all the information and are satisfied with the itinerary and cost, payment should be made online using the Booking link. Once confirmed, we will make any additional bookings at visitor attractions, or at restaurants, or distilleries. Payment for those can be made by the client when we arrive at the destination. Please also check Terms & Conditions before booking.
