Professional forester, photographer, photography tutor, mountain and sea kayak leader – Angus Mackie runs Scotland360o Photography, from his base on the Black Isle in the North Highlands of Scotland.
A Chartered Forester, Angus has worked in forestry for many years and has wide ranging knowledge of forestry and land management. He specialises in sustainable forest management, an approach which ensures that forests maintain their full potential for biodiversity as well as productivity, both now and into the future.
In tandem with forestry, Angus is an established landscape and panoramic photographer who specialises in 360o photography and he’s most at home in Scotland’s wild and remote scenery.
Angus offers full and half day guided photography workshops and photography tours across the Highlands. His bespoke photography workshops are crafted for small groups and individuals, drawing on his expertise to develop your photography knowledge and skills. Angus places particular emphasis on understanding and interpreting the landscape through photography and promotes a Leave No Trace approach through his workshops.
