E Bike Trip to Strath Farrar

Strath Farrar has to be one of the most scenic glens in the North Highlands. A full 12.5 miles from its start near Struy, to its western point at the Loch Monar Dam.

A lovely open glen with towering mountains to the north and south, with the River Farrar through its centre.

A great location for hiking and biking. Good parking places throughout the glen to leave vehicle and bike carrier – and then to explore west.

Total distance of bike ride 14 miles on good tarmac surface and some small off-road section. Perfect picnic spot by river and the chance to extract the telescopic trout rod for some fly fishing during our picnic!
